After updating to Android 15 on my Pixel 8, the family account sharing feature in LaganiLabs has stopped working. My wife and I share a PRO subscription and manage each other's accounts, but since the Android 15 update, whenever I try to view her portfolio it just shows a loading spinner indefinitely.
What I have tried:
- Force stopped and restarted the app
- Cleared both cache and data
- Re-invited my wife to the family share (got an error: "Invitation already active")
- Tried on both Wi-Fi and mobile data
App version: 2.4.1
Device: Google Pixel 8 (Android 15, December 2025 security patch)
Account type: PRO Family (2 members)
My wife is still on Android 14 and has no issues on her end. So the problem seems specific to Android 15.
Is anyone else experiencing this? Could this be related to the new Android 15 permission model for cross-app data sharing?
Hi Sunita, thank you for the detailed report with your exact device and OS version — this is very helpful. We are aware of a compatibility issue with the new Android 15 Pixel builds and the family sharing API. A hotfix (v2.4.2) is being tested right now and should be available within 48 hours. We will notify PRO subscribers when it goes live.
Same issue on my Pixel 7a after the Android 15 update. Good to know a fix is coming. In the meantime, the workaround I found is to go to Settings > Family Sharing > Remove and Re-add member. It works temporarily but resets after about 2 hours.
