I keep getting logged out of MeroShare every few hours inside LaganiLabs. I have to re-enter my password multiple times a day which is really frustrating, especially when an IPO is about to close.
My setup:
- Device: Samsung Galaxy A54 (Android 14)
- LaganiLabs version: 2.4.1
- MeroShare DP: Muktinath Bikas Bank
Things I have already tried:
- Restarted the app
- Cleared app cache
- Re-entered MeroShare credentials
The issue seems to happen more frequently when I switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data. Could this be a session timeout issue on MeroShare's end?
Hi Dipesh, thanks for the detailed report. The session timeout is indeed on MeroShare's end — their sessions expire after 4 hours of inactivity. However, we are working on a background session refresh feature in v2.5 that will automatically re-authenticate before the session expires. Expected in the next update.
I had the same issue on my Oppo phone. What fixed it for me was going to Settings > Battery > LaganiLabs and disabling battery optimization. Android was killing the background process that maintains the session.
Shreya that worked!! Disabling battery optimization fixed it completely. I have been logged in for 3 hours straight now. Samsung does aggressive battery management by default. Moderators, could you add this to the pinned guide?
