2Step 1 — Open Account Settings
Tap the profile icon in the bottom navigation bar, then select Settings > MeroShare Accounts. You will see a list of your currently connected accounts along with an "Add Account" button at the top right.
3Step 2 — Tap "Add Account"
Enter the following details for the new MeroShare account:
- DP ID — The Depository Participant ID (e.g. 10200, 10300). This is your broker number.
- Username — The MeroShare username (usually your CRN number or mobile number).
- Password — The MeroShare account password.
Tap "Connect" to verify the credentials. LaganiLabs will perform a test login to confirm the account is active. If the test fails, double-check your DP ID and username.
4Step 3 — Name your account
After connecting, you can give the account a display name such as "Dad", "Spouse", or "Personal" so it is easy to identify when applying for IPOs. Tap the pencil icon next to any account to rename it.
5Step 4 — Apply on behalf of multiple accounts
When an IPO is open, tap "Apply" on the IPO card. You will see a list of all connected accounts. Select the ones you want to apply with — you can select all in one tap using the "Select All" toggle. LaganiLabs will submit separate applications for each selected account.
6How are my credentials stored?
Your MeroShare credentials are encrypted using AES-256 encryption and stored only on your device. They are never transmitted to or stored on LaganiLabs servers. Each time LaganiLabs needs to submit an application, it decrypts your credentials locally and communicates directly with the MeroShare API. You can verify this in our Privacy Policy.
7Troubleshooting account connection issues
"Invalid credentials" error — Re-check your DP ID, username, and password. MeroShare passwords are case-sensitive.
"Account already connected" error — This account may already be linked under a different LaganiLabs login. Each MeroShare account can only be connected to one LaganiLabs account at a time.
Session expiry — MeroShare sessions expire after 4 hours of inactivity. LaganiLabs will prompt you to re-enter your password if this happens. PRO users get automatic session refresh coming in v2.5.
